中國經濟開放改革20年來，經濟蓬勃發展，近十幾年的年平均經濟成長率高達9%，然而高成長的背後卻隱藏著巨大的環境成本，因此近年來大陸政府提出十二五計畫藉以產業轉型，並明定環保為重大發展要項之一，未來將陸續得到政府資金補助及鼓勵政策，因此台灣環保產業到大陸投資設廠將成為熱門的議題。
本論文以台灣知名環保公司為個案研究對象，針對其至大陸投資的投資決策過程作一完整的分析，除了投資前的區位選擇、市場分析之外，投資過程相關的投資架構、資金來源，以及後續的建廠計畫與資本支出等，最後並假設一財務模型用以預測其相關投資指標，包括IRR、EBIT、NPV，根據本模型的預測，均呈現正向的獲利，代表本案值得投資，然而本研究也針對過程中可能遭遇的風險提出說明。

20 years of reform in China caused its economic grow vigorously, the average economic growth rate is up to 9% in the last decade. However, high growth is hidden behind a huge environmental cost. Thus, in recent years, the Chinese government put forward the Twelfth 5-Year Plan in order to achieve the industry transformation and stipulated that environmental protection was one of the major developments in key elements. The plan will continue to receive government funding grants and incentives in the future. Therefore, it will be the popular topic to invest environmental protection enterprise in China from Taiwan.
Using the Taiwan well-known environmental company as a case study subject, a complete study of the investment decision-making process in China, including pre-investment location selection, market analysis, the investment process-related investment structure, funding sources, and subsequent construction plans and capital expenditures, etc. Finally, assuming a financial model to predict its related investment indicators, including IRR, EBIT, NPV. According to the model predictions, showed a positive profit which means the investment is worth paying. Lastly, the research also proposed explanation for the risk during the process.
