Abstract
Due to the expending of the Internet and the popularity of the mobile devices, social network sites (SNS) recently play an important role in our life. Although there are many people using SNS nowadays, some of them have begun to be tired of using SNS. Therefore, they gradually reduce the frequency of using SNS, or even stop using SNS.
Hence, this research is based on this phenomenon, and tries to investigate the factors that will result in users' negative feelings when they use it. And we want to find out whether the negative feelings will influence users’ well-being or not. Moreover, this study also create a new fictitious function called agent, and this function can automatically filter spam, array friends’ information and display our messages according to the friends’ priority. We want to investigate whether “perceived usefulness of agent” will have moderating effect on users’ negative feelings to well-being.
Finally, this research collected 339 effective questionnaires. The results show that social network sites stressor has positive effect on exhaustion; exhaustion has negative impact on online social well-being; online social well-being has positive impact on continuance intension; “perceived usefulness of agent” has no moderating effect on SNS-stressor to exhaustion as well as exhaustion to online social well-being.
