除了外部威脅之外,內部員工也是造成機密資訊外洩的主要原因。過去研究已指出營造適當的資訊安全氣候可促進員工遵守資訊安全規定。本研究進一步以調節焦點理論及領導來探討資訊安全氣候如何產生效果,同時並了解除了增加遵從行為外,資訊安全氣候是否還會引發角色外的行為。本研究以問卷方法收集230位需頻繁使用資訊系統處理工作事項的員工來進行假說驗證。經過分析後發現,感知資訊安全氣候會正向影響促進型焦點以及預防型焦點,促進型焦點會正向影響資訊安全角色外行為,預防型焦點會正向影響資訊安全角色內行為。此外,領導結構行為會使得資訊安全氣候影響預防型焦點會更加強烈;領導關懷行為會使得資訊安全氣候影響促進型焦點更加強烈。本研究並根據分析結果,對學界、業界以及未來研究方向提出相關建議。
Abstract
In addition to threats from external, internal employee is on major source of information leaking in contemporary business environment. Past studies have shown that forming security climate is critical for boosting individuals’ compliance behaviors. This study attempt to move further and apply regulatory focus theory to explore how, and through what, security climate can enhance compliance behavior. We proposed that security climate drives enhance in-role and extra-role security behaviors through boosting promotion and prevention. The relationship between security climates and regulatory focus in moderated my leadership and the relationship between regulatory focus and behaviors is moderated by feedback style (reward of punishment). We tested the proposed hypotheses with data collected from 230 employees who use computer intensively to support their work. The results show that security climate has positive impact on both promotion and prevention regulatory focus. Specific leadership style can enlarge the impact of security climate on specific regulatory focus. Promotion focus can boost both in-role and extra-role behaviors and prevention focus only leads to in-role behavior. Furthermore, feedback can substitute the impact of regulator focus. Implications toward academia and practitioners are provided.
