本研究主要探討個案醫院 為達到共享資訊資源、降低營運成本等目標，所採取的整合活動過程。透過訪談法對於特定部門之權責人員進行深入訪談，瞭解合併其背後涵義、遭遇問題、及問題解決措施；同時蒐集相關文獻、歷史紀錄、及會議紀錄，以強化個案研究的效度和信度。本研究發現，個案醫院因整合政策達成營運成本降低與資訊資源共享的目標，但過程中也面臨到人員溝通協調的重大問題。因此，本個案研究進行相關資料分析與歸納，提出適當建議，作為推行垂直整合的重要參考依據。
本研究共進行五次深入訪談，並以六項訪談方向逐步探索，訪談方向為：一、整合目標－以「節制成本」、創造規模經濟減少重複投資共享源為此個案整合推行標的；二、整合政策推行附加效益－藉由整合政策推行後，組織所獲得的正面效應與回饋；三、政策規劃與執行方案－如何因應政策來產出發展方案，並依期程規劃落實執行；四、整合政策對部門產生的影響－瞭解因整合政策的執行，對於既有的作業模式與員工，帶來的改變與影響；五、整合政策執行所遭遇的問題－經由政策施行後，對於兩院根深的管理文化，造成的溝通斷層與困擾；六、因應遭遇問題找出解決方法－為達到所設立的整合目標，組織應如何使用解決方案來面對發生的問題。

This research is aimed to investigate the integrated activity process to achieve information resource sharing, reduce operating costs or other purposes at hospital. In order to understand meanings behind merger activity, difficulties, and solving measures, I interview thoroughly with authorized persons in specific departments and collect relevant references, historical and conference records for enforcing the validity and reliability. The finding of this research is integrated policy could reduce operating costs and reach the target of sharing information and resources at hospital. In addition, the major communicating problem for important topics with staff is also noted. Therefore, it could be used as appropriate recommendations and important reference in terms of implementation of vertical integration by analyzing the case and summarizing related data.
