在醫學科技快速發展的現代，許多過去無法治療的疾病透過新的藥物、手術等方式，已經逐漸有解可以進行治療，但即使如此，疾病依舊是大家所害怕不想發生的事，因此如何在病發前預防疾病的發生就成為一個重要的課題，個人健康的研究也從過去疾病治療延伸到病前的預防保健。相比起平均壽命的延長，更多的人追求的是健康年齡的延長，而除了透過飲食、運動、正規的日常作息等方式來保持健康外，有越來越多人在平時開始進行個人健康的紀錄，並逐漸意識到個人健康管理的重要性。
本研究透過實際建立一套個人健康管理系統來進行研究，探討關於個人健康管理系統的功能與對健康的幫助，也希望能夠在資訊科技高度發達的現代，利用資訊系統來輔佐個人管理健康，讓多數人將不再受到任何的時間、地點、設備等限制就能很輕易的進行健康管理。

The rapid development of modern medical technology has significantly improved our capability to treat diseases that would not have been possible. However, health is still a major issue that most people care about how to prevent diseases. The concept of personal health has extended from treatment to disease prevention. In addition to increasing the average life expectancy, more people pursue longer healthy life by diet control, frequent exercise, and daily activity regulation. More and more people are aware of the importance of health data management and start to maintain a record of their personal health data. However, there is no well-recognized personal health management website in Taiwan.
Developing a good personal health management system for commercial use requires a solid technical system and a good business model. The purpose of this study is to investigate how a personal health management system can be designed and whether the user would perceive such a system to be useful. In this thesis, we have adopted the design science approach to analyze system requirements, implement a prototype system that includes health news, personal health records, discussion boards, and friendly user interface to enter data from mobile phones and various other media. An experiment was conducted to evaluate the feasibility of the prototype system. The result shows that the subject did find that the system was useful in enhancing their healthcare management.
