Abstract
Although greed is central element in human existence, empirical research on the personal and social dynamics of greed is rare. Differ from previous research which mainly focus on greed’s content and some mentioned that greed has its bright side and can be ranged from bad greed to good greed, the present study quantified the continuum of greed and examined the relation between job involvement and greed; also I proposed to measure the level of greed by taking ambition and entitlement as the positive and negative of greed in the work place. Regression analyses’ result suggested that greed, ambition and entitlement can best lead to job involvement. Besides, ambition has higher relative importance than entitlement.
