資訊科技與網路的快速發展已經迅速重鑄人們的生活方式，2010年智慧手機讓人們無時無刻隨地互聯，資訊傳輸變得實時化，溝通成本前所未有的降低。技術改變了人們的生活，大多數都市人開始離不開網路，生活也由此而變得數字化、平面化，同時更重要的是——碎片化。以往生活中的大小事，現在都可以隨時隨地地處理，而這已經成為了生活的必需品。隨著這樣重大的變遷的發生，滿足日常需求的活動也發生了重大變遷，最重要的改變就是“共用”。共用經濟由技術驅動，因資訊與資源更自由的流動而起，同時在以往無法享受到諸多資訊服務的群體中掀起了巨大的變革，可以說是“長尾群體”的大變遷。
與此同時，傳統產業的表現卻並非樂觀。例如傳統製造業的鋼鐵產業，不僅受制於長久以來產業寡占的格局，被大型廠商和利益集團控制的產業鏈冗長而低效，造成產業笨重，連年產能過剩盈利下降甚至虧損，阻礙產業發展。
本文將通過對共用經濟的價值網絡商業模式進行研究與應用，從Steelnet鋼鐵資訊平臺公司入手，探討應用共用經濟模式更新升級傳統產業的商業模式並發掘新的商業機會的可能，從企業策略管理的角度，提出以上問題的實用解決方案，並提煉價值網絡模式在產業中應用的實際採行方法。

The rapid development of Information Technology has vastly changed people's way of living. In 2010, smart phones enabled us to be connected to the world and each other from everywhere 24/7. As the exchange and transaction cost of data and goods go sharply down, people are now very much relied on the internet since it provides real time information and online service. These days, online are also coming to offline to make people's life as convenient as possible. This trend has led to a new style of life - fragmented. We can now be free from what we have, and more importantly, from what we don't have. We can share with what we have to others as long as we don't need them for the moment, and we now have access to resources we don't necessarily have but can get from others' sharing. This has turned into a huge transformation of the so called big tail society.
Meanwhile, however, some traditional industries such as steel are not only constrained by the long term inflexibility to develop, but also low effectiveness from the overly long value chain and excess capacity, which are together avoiding the industry from moving forward.
In this thesis, we will study the business model of value network via the sharing economy model. To find proper methods to apply theories into industry activities, we will also take a deep look at the Steelnet company and analyze its current business model and it possible new business model and give a thoughtful view on a solution to our topic problem and from the company strategic management perspective.
