Abstract
The ever-changing of technology has not only created new business model, but also gave the traditional model a new life. “Sharing Economy” is the best example. However, the prior studies on Sharing economy have only focused on the tangible resources sharing, such as cars and accommodations sharing. In this research, we propose a five-construct model to understand user acceptance of online staffing. These constructs included two perceived attributes of innovations (relative advantage and perceived risk), and three personal factors (inertia, laziness, and personal innovativeness in IT).
In this research, our data were collected from 454 Internet users. The results show that the user's perception of the platform’s innovativeness and his/her personal factors indeed significantly affect his/her intention to use. We hope our finding can not only help us understand user’s intentions to use online staffing platforms, but also can help organizations or people who want to develop an online staffing platform to improve the utilization rate by making more accurate strategies.
