隨著全球化的發展與快速變動，國際遷移已然成為全球化下的普遍現象。探究人們選擇國際遷移的原因，不外乎是工作、商務或是結婚，而進行國際遷移至我國的類型大多為婚姻移民。

自 1987 年兩岸開放探親以來，兩岸交流的藩籬逐漸被跨越，使兩岸交流日趨 緊密，帶動了兩岸通婚的發展。而大陸配偶大量來臺，在臺灣成為一群不容忽視 的新群體。在婚姻移民的浪潮中，大陸配偶大多出於經濟利益而嫁至臺灣，在毫 無感情基礎的婚姻下，大陸配偶所面臨的困境除了生活適應之外，婆媳紛爭、家 庭暴力，子女教養及社會歧視皆讓大陸配偶成為臺灣的弱勢族群，因此其為臺灣 社會帶來的衝擊即是我國必須嚴肅正視的議題。

故本研究首先介紹國際通婚發展歷程及相關理論，並探討臺灣婚姻移民背景及大陸配偶在臺政策、制度;後分析兩岸通婚婚姻現況，並推展出大陸配偶目前在臺之地理分布、教育程度、勞動之情形，進而觀察以上項目是否產生交互影響。基於人格尊嚴之普世價值，期許我國政府未來於訂定大陸配偶制度時，除了能符合國家安全及利益、衡量兩岸發展情勢外，將大陸配偶權益逐漸朝向國際人權標準之目標前進，並保障兩岸婚姻權益，提供大陸配偶完善的輔導照顧機制，使大陸配偶早日適應我國社會，兩岸婚姻能夠穩定發展。

With the development of globalization, international migration has become a common phenomenon under globalization. The type of international migration to Taiwan is mostly marriage immigrants.
Since the cross-strait visits were opened in 1987, cross-strait exchange barriers have gradually been crossed, increasing close cross-strait exchanges, which has led to the development of cross-strait marriages. In the marriage boom among immigrant, Mainland China spouses married to Taiwan are mostly because of economic interests. Under a marriage without emotional foundation, the dilemmas faced by mainland spouses are not life adjustment, but also include the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, family violence, children's upbringing and society discrimination have caused mainland spouses to become disadvantaged ethnic groups in Taiwan. Therefore, the impact it has brought to Taiwan’s society is the issue that Taiwan must seriously face squarely.
Therefore, this study first introduces the development process of international intermarriage and related theories, and discusses the background of Taiwanese marriage immigration, policy and regulation of Mainland China spouses in Taiwan. Based on the universal values of human dignity, it is expected that when the government formulates the Mainland China spouse regulation in the future, in addition to meeting national security and interests , it will gradually move the rights and interests of Mainland China spouses toward the goal of international human rights standards, guaranteeing the cross- strait intermarriage rights and benefits , and provide a perfect counselling and care mechanism for Mainland China spouses. So that the Mainland China spouses can adapt to our society as soon as possible, the cross-strait intermarriage can develop steadily.
