  • Abstract Under the tide of global merger and acquisition, financial industry star to carry out the financial liberalization since 1990s in most developing countries. Due to the competitive pressures from competitor and reform the finance system from local regulator, Taiwan’s Banks also moving toward to the stage of financial reorganization one and after in recent years. This paper will discuss the role of human resource in multinational finance merger. In view of most international banks in Taiwan keep ongoing to merger and acquisition local bank in recent years. I can’t find any notable help for the whole industry expect the outstanding financial report. But hindsight does not seem so perfect about the right to work for the employees, organizational consolidation and integration. So in this paper I try to design the questionnaire through the scholars’ theory which the role of human resources playing, and scoring the result to attempt figure out this role is better or not in the survey candidate minds and it is identical with doctrine through the different role playing from the bank of this case. I try to use depth interview as semi-structured which interviews the senior department head of the bank in this case to understand the whole picture of human resources management during the merger process.
