中文摘要
近年來隨著國際間多起捷運與地下鐵系統之火災事故,造成極大的人員傷亡,歸納其事件造成重大傷亡之主要原因在於煙控系統之操作失效或緊急運轉策略不健全。因此,本文由美國國家標準局研發之火災成長預測方程式—FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator)與另一國際間流體計算應用著名軟體(Star-CD),模擬比較地下車站火災時狀況且預測火災之煙沈積高度,和高度沈降速率。模擬結果顯示煙沈積高度及煙沈積速度比對之誤差皆在工程容許範圍內,對往後CFD模擬有著重要參考價值。

Abstract
In recent year, there were many fire accidents in MRT and subway station,due to faolure in smoke control system and emergency operation strategies. The goal of this project is to use two sofeware—FDS and Star-CD to simulate the fire in MRT station and predict the height of smoke layer and its descending rate .The comparison of the two indicated sucessful result can be obtained with deviations within engineering tolerance..
