90年代之後,台灣錢淹腳目的經濟成長已不復可見。高效率、高品質以及高配合度雖曾經為台灣爭取到世界代工王國的美名,卻因代工毛利率陸續降低,利潤越來越少,而產生所謂的代工困境。以Notebook代工生產來說,台灣廠商的毛利率僅剩毛三到四。台灣面臨的困境與紅色供應鏈以及貿易孤立的外交情勢非常相關。尤其,區域經濟的興起,以及許多中國在地競爭對手,不顧一切的削價競爭,已經明顯衝擊與逐漸取代台灣的地位。即使台灣為了降低成本與關稅貿易上的些許優勢,而將生產的基地陸續的移往國外甚至中國,也無法遏止經濟成長率從2010年至2016年趨勢不斷下滑的困境。
TF公司在大環境的困境下,靠著唯二的兩種事業產品,主要是替世界知名品牌公司代工,尚能屹立不搖近二十年,但也因遭受大環境的影響,致使2013年~2016年連續四年,獲利不再成長。在這種困境下,若再不思強化競爭力的策略,企業獲利將持續下滑,值得警戒!
本研究是利用內部訪談以及系統彙整的方式,重新整理TF公司20年的研發核心能力,並依據外部訪談的原料需求與市場規模,異業合作開發紡織業需要的機能原料,利用TF公司領先的電子級技術平行轉移推出異業結盟的創新產品,以提昇TF公司的競爭能力。透過本研究預期將產出:
一.創新的異業產品,多角化經營,增加營收與分散風險。
二.建立內部異業創新的開發流程,縮短開發時間與成功率。
利用創新產品來增加台虹的營收動能,並建立流程後,未來新產品的開發也可持續依循,更快速的推出異業產品,增加TF公司競爭能力。
Abstract
After the 1990s, Taiwan's high flying economy is gone and the high economic growth also no longer sustainable. Despite the high efficiency, high quality and high cooperation manufacturing industry help Taiwan to build its reputation as the kingdom of original equipment manufacturer (OEM), but because of the competition grows fierce and profits gradually compressed, profit is thinner and thinner, and produce the dilemma for OEM economy. In terms of OEM manufacturing, the shipments of the top five largest notebook manufacturers in Taiwan accounted for more than 80% of the global market in 2005, however the industry's gross margin is all the way down to three to four percent. There is a very close relationship between the OEM dilemma that Taiwan is facing and the red supply chain and trade isolated diplomatic situation. In particular, the rise of the regional economy and many low-cost manufacturers in the developing countries has a direct impact on the status of Taiwan's OEM kingdom. Even if Taiwanese manufactures move their production bases out of the country aggressively in order to reduce the cost and take tariff trade advantage, this still cannot stop the economic growth rate trend in the plight of the decline from 2010 to 2016. TF Corporation, which was solely relying on the two major business product lines, mainly manufacturing for the world’s most famous brands, with the largest production capacity in Greater China, has been able to withstand the challenging macroeconomic environment for the past twenty years. Impacted by the challenging headwinds, the corporate profits of TF Corporation stayed flat from 2013 to 2016 for four consecutive years. Without strategies to strengthen the competitiveness and innovation of TF Corporation the profits will start declining. This research is to use internal interviews and system integration, to reorganize TF company's 20 years of research and development core competencies, and according to the external interviews for the demand of raw materials and market size, to develop functional raw materials to meet the textile industry needs with the strategic alliance from different business, the use of TF's leading Electronic-level technology horizontal transfer launched a combination of innovative products to enhance the competitiveness of TF corporation.
Through this study it is expected that the outputs will be:
1. Innovative products, diversified operations, increase revenue and risk diversification.
2. Establish the development process of internal innovation; shorten the development time and increase the success rate. The use of innovative products to increase the revenue of TF, and the establishment of the process, the development of new innovative products can continue to follow, the rapid introduction of innovative products, increase the competitiveness of TF companies.
