由衛生服務部在2010提供的資料顯示,我國微循環疾病在國民醫療花費達818億,且好發族群為50歲以上的高年齡患者,足見微循環疾病的預防是當前必須重視的健康議題。

周邊微循環疾病,有慢性靜脈功能不全及阻塞性周邊血管病變兩種。靜脈曲張,為慢性靜脈功能不全的病徵之一。臥姿抬腿為預防靜脈曲張的常見醫囑。透過將腳抬高的動作,達到舒緩下肢壓力的效果。

周邊組織微循環訊號可反應許多重要的生理資訊。周邊血管阻塞病變相關疾病,初期會先在微循環訊號上產生異常,之後才會在身體上有明顯變化。故可以利用微循環生理訊號,監測生理狀態,預防微循環相關疾病。

為驗證抬腿減壓動作的效應,本研究有三個量測族群,分別是年輕健康人、高齡糖尿病人,高齡健康老人。我們使用自製的微循環量測系統與醫院使用的動脈硬化檢測儀,交互比對驗證。並希望可以找到訊號特徵值,藉以區分這三個族群。
Abstract
Based on the data published by the Ministry of Health and Wealthy in 2010, the medical expenses of micro-circulation diseases is about NT$ 81.8 billion. Most of patients are people of age 50 or older. It is evident that the prevention of micro-circulation diseases is a health issue that deserves our serious attention.

Micro-circulation disease includes chronic venous insufficiency and peripheral arterial occlusive disease. Varicose veins is one of the symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency. Leg elevation is a very common medically prescribed preventative measure for varicose veins. By raising the leg, one can reduce the pressure of the lower extremities.

Significant amount of physiological information can be extracted from the micro-circulation signals surrounding the tissue. For diseases related to peripheral vascular obstruction, abnormality of the micro-circulation system often appear before other more apparent symptoms. As a result, early detection and treatment of these diseases can be achieved by monitoring the micro-circulation signals.

This work use three groups of test subject to verify the effect of leg elevation: the young healthy people, old diabetes patients and old healthy people. We use measurement system designed by our laboratory and commercial arteriosclerosis detector used by hospital to measure the micro-circulation signals. The goal is to find features that can distinguish these three tested groups.
