本研究使用定負荷之摩擦攪拌銲接機進行摩擦攪拌點銲及摩擦攪拌銲接實驗,銲接工具為小型內嵌式工具與非內嵌式工具,在不同操作參數下探討鋁合金薄板之銲接特性與銲接機制,如正向負荷(100 N~580 N)、主軸轉速(6000 rpm~12000 rpm)及進給速度(0~4 mm/s)。
探討定點銲接之銲接時間、正向負荷及主軸轉速對銲道下陷深度、塑性流深度及銲接工件之極限負荷的影響,並歸納得到銲道下陷深度與極限負荷之相關性。由結果可知,內嵌式銲接工具之銲接品質明顯優於非內嵌式銲接工具,其極限負荷可提升約2.3倍。
根據定點銲接結果選擇兩組最佳參數進行進給銲接。由結果可知,當內嵌式銲接工具在主軸轉速為9000 rpm條件下時,由於銲道過熱而產生嚴重溢料現象。為了克服此缺陷,減少熱量輸入可得到較平整之銲道表面及穩定之銲接品質。
Abstract
In this study, friction stir spot welding and friction stir welding (FSW) experiments were conducted under a friction stir welding machine with constant load. The welding tools are small embedded-type tool and plain tool. The welding characteristics and the welding mechanism of aluminum alloy sheets are investigated under different operating conditions, such as the normal load (100~580 N), the rotation speed (6000~12000 rpm), and the welding speed (0~4 mm/s).
Effects of welding times, normal loads, and rotation speeds on the depression depth, the plastic flow depth, and the ultimate load of the welded workpiece are investigated for the spot welding, to obtain the relationship between the depression depth and the ultimate load. By the results, the welding quality of embedded-type tool is better than the plain tool, the ultimate load increased about 2.3 times.
Based on the results of spot welding, two best experimental conditions are selected to conduct the FSW experiments. Results show that the embedded type of welding tool with 9000 rpm for a large mass of flash was found due to the excess heat input of joint. To overcome this defect, the heat input should be decreased to obtain smooth surface and stable welding quality.
