過去台灣政策支持的農業環境、完善的蘭花生產分工以及優良的外銷能力，讓台灣曾經是世界上知名的蘭花大國。但是隨著其他國家的快速進步，而台灣進步的幅度過小，導致台灣蘭花業者競爭能力日漸薄弱。本研究希望可以分析出投資者是否該投資蘭花產業，並且歸納出所應採納的發展策略。本研究透過與資深台灣蘭花業者的深度訪談以及政府所提供的次級資料，進而了解過去的發展歷程以及目前所碰到的問題。並且藉由了解業者所掌握的技術以及蘭花客戶特性，分析投資者進入後必須協助發展的方向。本研究整理出投資者與蘭花業者雙方探討與蘭花具有關聯性以及未來發展性產業的過程中所探討的議題，分別為持續發展持續發展蘭花本業的蘭花外銷、利用蘭花的特性開發文化創業產業以及配合蘭花喜愛者的目標客群屬於高齡而發展長輩服務產業，並提出投資者與蘭花產業公司共同的發展方向。而預計達到的效應為提供投資者評量的標準，根據確認的發展方針，進
而規劃處發展藍圖。

Due to the supports of government policy to the agricultural industry, complete division of orchid planting and excellent exporting capability, Taiwan was once known as orchid superpower. However, the growths in orchid industries of other countries have surpassed and overtaken Taiwan for its orchid superpower throne. This research is dedicated to analyzing the possible future master development plan for investors and the orchid industry company to achieve. In order to understand the history and the difficulties Taiwan orchid industry is currently facing, this research adopts in-depth interviews with Taiwan orchid experts and official secondary data. Also, understanding the key assets, which the experts holds, and the common features of orchid customers assists the analyst of possible directions for business diversifications. The research has listed three industries were involved in the discussion between investor and the orchid company with orchid, and they are the original orchid exporting business, applying orchid features to develop into cultural and creative industry, and geriatrics service industry which the orchid lovers age fall into. The research also provides directions for further discussions between the investor and the orchid company.
