本實驗觀察Co1-xO顆粒在CaO基材中,是否因熱驅動達成晶向關係,以及兩者因相互擴散 引起之缺陷集合(defect clusters),以及此複合材料之微觀組織之演化。CoO/CaO系統以1 :9莫耳比例配製,在1300oC(T/Tm=0.96)熱處理5-80小時後分別作爐冷及空冷,並以穿 透式電子顯微鏡觀察微觀組織及晶向關係。結果發現,在5小時恆溫熱處理後有小於0.2μ m的CoO顆粒與基材達成磊晶關係,在80小時長時間熱處理之後,大於0.7μm的CoO顆粒 仍無發現磊晶關係的存在,但有小於0.5μm的次微米顆粒調成平行磊晶關係: 〔111〕CaO//〔111〕CoO,〔110〕CaO//〔110〕CoO,也有以{111}接觸面旋轉30o的 晶向關係:〔111〕CaO//〔111〕CoO,〔112〕CaO//〔011〕CoO,此現象可以CoO顆粒的 轉動及布朗運動的描述,且動力學因素在本系統T/Tm=0.96偏高的情況下,仍不可輕忽。 另一方面,氧化鈷和氧化鈣互溶時會由於體積補償及電荷補償效應造成缺陷,並在內部 造成缺陷聚集的paracrystalline分佈。氧化鈷本身形成paracrystal然後變成尖晶石的過程相當 快,使得paracrystal無法在氧化鈷中被觀察到。而在CaO晶粒內發現許多長條狀具paracrysta 的析出物,其方向垂直晶界,我們推測可能是由於paracrystal在晶界處成核,並藉胞狀析出 (Cellular Precipitation)的作用隨晶界移動而產生。此外,由於爐冷及空冷的試片中皆可發 現此長條狀析出物,因此paracrystal的產生主要應是在退火溫度1300oC時完成,少部分則可 於退火或爐冷時在差排處成核及生長。 |
