研究目的：本研究目的為統整在臺新移民婦女健康與醫療相關文獻，並研究越南籍孕產婦、醫護人員醫病互動的跨文化型態。
研究方法：採取Madeline Leininger跨文化理論與紮根理論研究法，於臺灣地區婦產科診所與專科醫院，採立意取樣方式，選取婦產科醫師、護理人員、與越南籍孕產婦為研究對象，並於門診與產後病房從事系統性觀察與半結構訪談，以與會談與錄音方式收集資料，共有24位報導者成為本研究參與者，再將原始資料循跨文化研究法與紮根理論研究法進行內容編碼，分析。
研究發現與建議：越南籍孕產婦就醫時表現型態為害羞順從型、少有反映型、主動表達型；而醫護人員則是：機械操作型、文化敏感型、文化關懷型；雙方互動之後產生九種型態包括：文化隔離、文化陌生、文化淡漠、相互探索、一搭一唱、文化覺知、文化照護、文化理解、與文化和諧等型態，其中以文化和諧型為效果最佳的醫病互動，而醫護人員的文化敏感度與態度為影響醫病互動的關鍵。本研究理解臺灣地區醫護人員的文化能力與文化照護的敏感度，並以研究結果提出對於醫護教育、臨床實務、後續研究與行政管理層面提出相關建議，進而對新移民孕產婦提供多元文化照護。

Aim： This study aims to explore how immigrants utilize prenatal care in Taiwan, in particular to Vietnamese pregnancy women and how they interact with caregivers in hospital.
Method： Method to collect data includes observations and interviews based on Madeline Leininger and Giger & Davidhizar’s theory of Cross – cultural care. Using Glaser and Strauss steps of coding data are analyzed and cluster into themes.
Result：There are 8 groups and each with three to participant which are Vietnamese pregnancy women, doctors and nurses in this study. The modes of obstetric service that Vietnamese pregnancy women presented are shame compliance, less reaction, active expression, while the caregiver demonstrated institutional service, cultural-sensitive, cultural caring. Interaction mode of the Vietnamese pregnancy and caregiver includes cultural isolation, cultural inexperienced, cultural apathy, cultural exploring, action-reaction, cultural awareness, cultural care, cultural realize, and cultural harmony.
Implication：The research result provides information that important to the caregiver in obstetrics in Taiwan, in particular to care of Vietnam immigrants. It also provides better understanding to the immigrant’s need in pregnancy and birth so that they receive better care and the caregiver become more sensitive to culture care.
