MacIntyre在《追尋美德》一書中，透過對「實踐」概念的重新闡發，建構出一套共同分享實踐經驗與內在善的社群架構。而MacIntyre的實踐概念，則是由Aristotle轉化而來。本篇論文著重在爬梳Aristotle的「實踐智」概念，並由此來看MacIntyre如何在自己的實踐概念中重新闡發Aristotle的實踐智。實踐智的概念在當代有兩種不同的詮釋。其中一種是著重在《尼各馬科倫理學》第7卷的內容，而衍伸出將實踐智視為一種三段論（Syllogismus）式的實踐推理過程。然而本文將論證這樣的觀點是錯誤的理解了Aristotle對實踐智的論述。本文將藉由《尼各馬科倫理學》第6卷及其他章節中的記載，來論證實踐智應該被視為一種理智之德，而非實踐推理。另一方面，透過爬梳MacIntyre在《誰之正義？何種合理性？》一書中對實踐智的論述，本文將論述一種透過「推理的智慧」，將隱含在實踐經驗中的實踐智加以顯明的辯證過程。由此證明MacIntyre宣稱Aristotle的倫理學架構理當是一個仍具備發展空間的辯証體系。另一方面，本文也將整理實踐智作為一種理智之德所具備的「中庸」性質，與MacIntyre的「內在善」之間的關係。最後整理Aristotle在《尼各馬科倫理學》與《政治學》兩書中，有關個人與城邦生活如何培養實踐智的論述。由此來看Aristotle的論述如何在當代影響MacIntyre發展有關社群的論述。

MacIntyre, in his “After Virtue”, elucidated the concept of “Practice” to create a community structure based on sharing practical experience and Intrinsic good. The heart of MacIntyre’s “Practice” concept came from Aristotle. This paper will sort through Aristotle’s concept of “Practical wisdom” to analyze MacIntyre’s own redefinition of Practical wisdom and how he elucidates Aristotle’s “Practical wisdom”. There are two main interpretations to Practical wisdom in the modern age: One focuses on the contents of “Nicomachean Ethics” Book VII, which extends to the idea that treats Practical wisdom as a Syllogismus-type procedure of practical reason. This paper argues that such perspective is a misinterpretation of Aristotle’s discourse on Practical Wisdom, and that Practical wisdom should be considered as a Virtue of Reason as based on “Nicomachean Ethics” Book VI and entries on other chapters, instead of Practical reason. We will comb through MacIntyre’s entry on Practical wisdom in “Whose Justice? - Which Rationality?”, to present a Dialectical process of clarifying Practical wisdom hidden within practical experience through “nous”. This will prove that the ethical structure of Aristotle is a Dialectical system with potential for growth as is advocated by MacIntyre. This paper will also break down how Practical wisdom posses the “mean” of Intellectual virtues and its relations with MacIntyre’s “Intrinsic good”, and then move on to analyze Aristotle’s influence on MacIntyre’s elucidation of community, by grasping Aristotle’s idea of how individual and Polis life cultivates Practical wisdom based on excerpts of “Nicomachean Ethics” and “Politics”.
